KC Women’s Network is a group formed during 2008 with the aim of providing professional and business women with the opportunity to network, connect and form friendships. We aim to provide an environment where women are inspired and empowered to succeed in their business endeavors.
We offer a variety of mediums for people to connect.
Firstly we hold meetings twice a month where we offer a balance of theme based programs that meet our mission with opportunities to network. These meeting provides opportunity to network, hear from speakers or feature a member and their business. We also hold speed networking events throughout the year, and hands on workshops covering topics such as technology, social networking and blogging.
Secondly we hold several social events throughout the year, hosted by members of the group.
Other connection mediums include our very own website, online directory of members, a Ning Network, a Blog, calendar of local events that support your business, and a quarterly newsletter.
